I really like the pho and fried rice here, but it's still a bit pricey compared to what I'm used to (California prices). They have a nice dark atmosphere, which is also very clean with nice service. It's definitely a nice place to eat at especially if you work in Tinker AFB, and crave some good Asian food. Other dishes that I really liked were the salt and pepper pork/chicken; it was very moist on the inside and crisp on the outside. Their spring rolls are pretty standard, but an appetizer I really liked was the fried bun (it reminds me of Filipino embutido). I've also enjoyed all of the lunch specials I've had, which are your basic Chinese meats and rice, along with an eggroll. I'm definitely coming back here, but I'm not sure if it's out of necessity due to my location, or preference. Only repeated visits in the future will tell.

Terrible service. I came in to place an order to go. There was one table with people at it. I had to get my own menu and track down a waitress to take my order. The owner was next door at Craw Daddyz sitting at a table drinking beer and watching basketball with what looked to be some family or friends. The food was okay. Nothing special. That's the last time I'll go there. Overall grade "D-".

Good service good pho! Broth was a little bland but they give you fixings to help make it photastic. Price was very reasonable, would visit again.

I love these guys more than any other Chinese restaurant. I LOVE their hawaiian pork, fried rice, beef broccoli and egg rolls! Yum! BUT, that's all I love so far...I've tried a few things that were just ok. I'd recommend them!

Its so sad because we used to eat here a lot. Dont get me wrong, the food is really good! But when it comes to customer service, this place is horrible! They dont have enough servers and the servers that do work there are rude!! I suggest you order to go.

Lunch specials were delicious. Server was awesome and bathrooms were unique. You will have to see yourself. Lunch was $6 with a water. Specials ARE NOT EVERY WEEKDAY??!

I used to come here a lot while I was in Oklahoma last year for the summer. The place n food were amazing. Now a year later, still the same BUT the service is crap. Rude and not well mannered. Get all your stuff to go.

My go to Vietnamese restaurant in the metro area. Clean place, friendly staff. The owner is always here making sure everything is done right. However, stay away from the lunch menu, not all that good.

I came in with my boyfriend late on a rainy Sunday night. I was so excited to see that they served Pho since it was a perfect night for it! We started with steamed pork and shrimp dumplings per our servers suggestion. She did not steer us wrong they were so delicate and perfectly seasoned. I ordered Pho with rare beef and some hot green tea. My boyfriend ordered the orange chicken and fried rice, our server also brought out some steamed rice for him because he got the last of the fried rice. The orange chicken was the star of our meal, the chicken itself was super crunchy but light at the same time. Their sauce had a really good spice that hit right at the back of my throat. I also really appreciate the attitude and service we got there. As I said we came in about an hour and a half before close on a Sunday so it would have been really easy for our server to act annoyed with us but she was super helpful with all of our questions and made sure we had a good experience.

This place is awesome. It had a great welcoming feel for families. As soon as we came in I was a little scared because everything seemed average. The food arrived and it was delicious and cheap. If they changed their decor and made the place more romantic they could charge double for the food and you wouldn't even blink an eye. The best family place to bring your kids to get some good Chinese food for cheap. Don't mind the two dollar signs I think it is actually a one dollar sign place. 5 stars.

I came in with my son and his girlfriend and wanted them to have a great Asian food experience. Courtney our server made wonderful suggestions and set us up for a great dinner. So very pleased with service and food. Have been here many times and will be back again! Highly recommend.

Man, this place has went downhill! I've only ate here a few times, always to-go. The food is pricey but it "was" good. I went to dinner here on Sunday and the place was dead. I think there were 2 other tables occupied when we got there, but they left shortly after we arrived. Nobody greeted us when we arrived so after standing around for a minute we just sat down. We were there for several minutes before anybody came over to the table and it was some young girl who was clearly annoyed by our presence. The menus we were given had probably about 1/4 of the items blacked out. We finally ordered, after waiting for the waitress to quit talking with the busboy and ignoring us. I asked for 1/2 order of the dumplings, since 12 was a little much for 2 people. She said no, they could only put in a whole order. OK, fine, I told her to forget it (which personally if you have no customers I feel like maybe you should go a little out of the way for the few that do trickle in, but whatev, that's your business). It took a long time to get our food, especially since we were the only customers. It was NOT worth the wait. It was edible but not good at all. All of the veggies in the lo-mein I ordered were overcooked and soggy, the lo-mein had way too much of some kind of brown sauce on it that I'm pretty sure shouldn't have even been on it. My mom ordered lemon-butter shrimp but it was covered in the same brown sauce that was on my lo-mein, I guess they were out of lemon and butter. The only thing good we ate were the fresh shrimp rolls wrapped in rice paper with peanut sauce. I did tip the waitress but honestly didn't feel like she deserved it. This will be my last time eating here. There are too many other options to settle for high prices, bad food and crappy service.

Haven't been here in awhile. The food still tastes like before. They do have a really cheap lunch menu now that goes from Monday to Wednesday 11:00 - 1:00pm. It's about $5.50. One of the waitress here is really quick. She drops your stuff off and runs off in an instant. If you have something to ask for, you better be quick or you'll have to wait until she comes back. I looked at the menu and I see some changes. Quite a few items are crossed out in a black marker. The entire dessert section is gone now. I ordered the Sweet and sour pork from the special lunch menu and I asked for white rice. They brought out fried rice instead. I told them about it and they just brought me out some white rice. A mistake on their part but they made up for it.

Came here with groupon. Food, service and atmosphere was good. We had the fried Vietnamese egg roll, lemon garlic salad, lemongrass grass chicken, golden Phoenix ginger beef (It would have been better with half the sauce). The food took long to come out. I would come back.

Chinese/Vietnamese restaurant with a full bar! The interior of this place is really nice. It's connected to Fatdaddy's Crawfish. Right out of Tinker Airforce base. Went here today because my friend was feeling sick and he wanted Pho. Their menu had a lot of options, which is always a good thing. I ordered the Orange chicken. Great choice!! It was delicious, the tanginess was just right. When ever I would order orange chicken at other places, it would be either too tangy or not enough. This place knows how to make orange chicken. The service was great but the only thing was my waitress forgot my avocado smoothie.. I think she figured that she forgot because she brought it after I finished eating. But she didn't charge me for it so I didn't take off any stars for that. The avocado smoothie was ok. Didn't really taste like avocado but it's fine, they probably used a powder mix but I don't blame them, a lot of restaurants do. I've figured that OKC isn't big on boba drinks. My friends ordered the Hawaiian chicken and a bowl of pho. I didn't try but my friends said they were good. My order was delicious and the price was great. I think it was $9.85 for the Orange chicken and $3 for the drink. Thanks cute waitress for the free drink!

If everything on their menu is as good as the two entrees we had tonight, then I'm set for Asian food anytime I'm in MWC! My husband and I ordered the orange chicken and the eggplant and pork stir fry. I had the brown rice and he had the fried rice. Both dishes were flavorful and fresh. The fried chicken in the orange chicken dish was crispy and the sauce was tangy and sweet. The stir fried eggplant and pork was amazing, with just a hint of citrus in the sauce. They also offer pho, which I'll definitely try next time, along with a variety of other Asian dishes. PLUS the Crawdad restaurant next door is in a shared space with them, so you can order off of either menu when you eat there. Woohoo!

Have ate at Golden Phoenix before and never had an experience quite as bad as the one I had today. Took forever to get my food that just came out cold, and when we tried to flag down our waitress to fix the issue, we couldn't find her. Eventually the new food came out with the help of a different waitress, and was not ice cold this time. But then we waited five minutes to get our water refilled! The issue was eventually addressed, but when we gave her $13 to put towards the bill since we were splitting (and she responded with understanding), she just kept it and still charged the full value of the bill to my friends cards! Anna Marie had the personality of a napkin and should maybe get retrained, and somebody needs to tell the cooks to make sure that all food that leaves that kitchen should be hot! The only redeeming aspect of the experience was that my aunt's ph was great.

I'm not sure what the other Asian/Vietnamese spots are like in the area but this place was surprising tasty in the flat lands of OKC. It has a full bar connected to it that you can order from though it does have a separate menu for the bar area since its sort of a separate dinning experience. The menu is a mix of Vietnamese, Chinese, Korean, & Thai dishes with their own little twist. I've definitely had better dishes but for me it was all about their bar food that made this dinning experience worth while. Next time you're here, you need to try the crawfish. One interesting thing about this restaurant is that in the Men's bathroom has a TV in the mirror, so while you take care of business you never miss any of the game. Also, this spot is more of a 3.5 star for the food but with the amazing service, I gave it an uptick.

Our family has gone to eat here several times and it has always been wonderful. It may not be the most glamorous place to go and eat, but the food always comes out fresh and delicious in a timely manner. We have ordered to go a few times and it has always been OK, but never as good as getting the food fresh. There's something about it sitting in a styrofoam box and steaming for a little too long that the food looses some of its impact. If you only have a short drive from the place and are prompt in picking the food up, it would probably be fine, but we have found that we prefer to eat in.

If you are ever at Tinker AFB this place should be on your list to try. It is a Chinese/Vitenamese restaurant that has a decent selection and a full bar :) the food was fast and hot with good size portions. The service was quick and easy for dinner time. I had their house mojito and sesame chicken both were excellent. The tempura was light and crunchy and the sauce yummy and tangy. The other bonus is that you can also order off the menu for its sister restaurant next door "Fat Daddy'z Crawfish". My husband did this and was very complementary of their food too. Enjoy!

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
